【详细解释】 The Biochemical Society of the Republic of Korea (BSRK) was founded in 1967 for the purpose of promoting biochemical research and education in the areas of chemistry, biology, medicine, pharmacy, and agriculture in Korea. Since then, the BSRK has been expanded its scope of activity to the fields of molecular biology. The BSRK is the most historied and the largest society related to biochemistry and molecular biology in Korea having more than 3000 members. The BSRK, being recognized to represent the biochemistry and molecular biology fields of Korea, has actively participated in FAOBMB and IUBMB since 1973 and 1982, respectively. The BSRK is the host society who was in charge of all relevant activities for the 5th FAOB and who will be for the 6th IUBMB Seoul Conference (October 10-13, 1999).
