【详细解释】 The Inter-Organization Programme for the Sound Management of Chemicals (IOMC) was established in 1995 by UNEP, ILO, FAO, WHO, UNIDO and OECD. UNITAR became the seventh participating organization in 1997. The purpose of the IOMC is to promote coordination of policies and activities pursued by the participating organizations to achieve the sound management of chemicals in relation to human health and the environment. Scientific and technical work of the IOMC is carried out through the existing structures of the participating organizations, either individually or jointly.
